Lipis daerah kedua dilanda banjir <b>di Pahang</b> | Semasa | Berita Harian Posted: 24 Nov 2015 06:26 PM PST ANGGOTA polis sedang membawa calon Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) yang terperangkap dalam banjir ke pusat peperiksaan berikutan banjir akibat hujan lebat sejak petang semalam di Kampung Beletik. - Foto PDRM KUANTAN: Lipis menjadi daerah kedua di Pahang dilanda banjir selepas daerah Raub, menyebabkan 23 orang daripada lapan keluarga di Kampung Beletik hari ini dipindahkan ke pusat pemindahan banjir. Pengarah Jabatan Pertahanan Awam Malaysia Pahang, Zainal Yusoff, berkata pusat pemindahan banjir di Sekolah Lubuk Kulit, Lipis itu mula dibuka pada jam 2 petang. Katanya, bagaimanapun jumlah mangsa banjir di Raub setakat 2 petang ini berkurangan kepada 62 orang daripada 18 keluarga berbanding 81 orang daripada 14 keluarga pagi tadi. "Di Raub satu pusat pemindahan di Bangunan Gerakan Persatuan Wanita (GPW) Felda Tersang yang menempatkan 25 orang daripada enam keluarga telah ditutup 12 tengah hari tadi. "Dua pusat lagi masih beroperasi iaitu Balai Raya Kampung Tersang yang menempatkan 19 orang daripada tiga keluarga dan Masjid Jamek Kampung Kuala Semantan menempatkan 20 orang daripada tujuh keluarga," katanya ketika dihubungi Bernama hari ini. Sebagai persediaan menghadapi banjir kali ini, kesemua 105 pangkalan hadapan di Pahang telahpun disiapkan dengan bekalan bahan makanan dan peralatan untuk kegunaan sebanyak 657 pusat pemindahan banjir yang boleh menempatkan 140,000 mangsa. Sebanyak 10,300 penjawat awam yang relevan termasuk 5,100 orang yang terlibat secara langsung dalam operasi memindah dan menyelamat juga telah diletak dalam keadaan berjaga-jaga dengan cuti mereka dibekukan mulai 15 November hingga 15 Januari tahun hadapan. - BERNAMA |

Beliau berkata, rumah yang dibina dengan kos RM3 juta itu akan menjadi tempat sementara untuk golongan berkenaan tidur, rehat, makan dan sembahyang selain turut menyediakan perkhidmatan kesihatan. "Rumah itu sudah siap dan kini dalam pemeriksaan akhir. Ia dapat menampung 260 gelandangan dalam satu masa," katanya dalam sidang media selepas melawat tapak pembinaan Rumah Mampu Milik Wilayah Persekutuan (RUMAWIP) Residensi Pandanmas di sini hari ini. Mengulas lanjut, Tengku Adnan berkat,a kementeriannya sedang berbincang dengan Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat (JKM) untuk menentukan pihak yang bertanggungjawab mengelola rumah itu. "Jika tiada pihak yang ingin menjadi pengelola (rumah itu), penyertaan mana-mana parti politik dialu-alukan," katanya. Mengenai keperluan makanan serta minuman di rumah itu, Tengku Adnan berkata, pihaknya akan meminta badan bukan kerajaan (NGO) yang sebelum ini banyak melaksanakan program mengagihkan makanan untuk membantu. "Kalau boleh kita tidak mahu pihak NGO beri makan kepada gelandangan di tepi jalan yang kotor serta tidak selesa dan kita tidak mahu mengotorkan tempat itu," katanya. Tengku Adnan berkata, rumah seumpama itu sudah diwujudkan di Medan Tuanku, di bawah tanggungjawab Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (DBKL) namun ia tidak membenarkan gelandangan untuk tidur. Mengenai RUMAWIP, sehingga Oktober lalu, pembinaan RUMAWIP dan Perumahan Penjawat Awam 1Malaysia (PPA1M) di seluruh Wilayah Persekutuan adalah sebanyak 29,154 atau 37 peratus dari 80,000 unit sasaran keseluruhan.
