Posted: 02 Jul 2014 01:14 AM PDT

"Okey, Rina! Kau keluar dengan siapa?" Syani di atas sofa bertanya sambil anak mata masih tidak lepas memerhatikan kaca tv.

"Dengan kawan aku! Aku pergi dulu tau!"

"Iyalah, jaga diri!" sahutnya ringkas.

"Okey Syani. Insyallah, bye!"

"Bye, Rina!" Lalu daun pintu ku rapatkan semula. Sandal ku sarung dan kaki ku hayun mendekati pintu pagar. Victor sedang bersandar ke keretanya.

"Hai Karina," ucapnya menyambut kedatangan aku.

"Hai Victor," balas ku sambil memandang penampilannya yang agak formal!

"Nak kemana? Ke.. you dari office?" soal ku hairan.

"Err. Ha'a I dari office tadi!" gumamnya kedengaran teragak-agak sahaja nadanya.

"Eh, masuklah!"

"Kedai mamak?"

Cantik!

"You boleh makan masakan cina?" soal Victor sebaik sahaja enjin kereta dimatikan. Aku menoleh ke arahnya, lelaki itu sedang menanggalkan tali pinggang keselamatan sebelum memandang ku sekilas. Dia tersenyum lagi.

"I harap, you boleh terima masakan cina." Ajunya tenang.

"Victor, I boleh makan apa sahaja kecuali makanan pelik-pelik." Balas ku tersenyum nipis.

"Baguslah, senanglah I gemukkan you nanti." gumamnya perlahan.

"I tak mahu gemuk, nanti susah nak kurus tau." Sengih ku sudah tidak terbendung.

"Iya, semua perempuan takut gemuk. I faham," ucap Victor tersenyum hingga menampakkan barisan giginya yang tersusun cantik.

"Mestilah, produk menguruskan badan agak mahal tau. Rugi duit!"

I rasa terlalu gedik bila dilayan macam tu." Terang ku seikhlas hati.

"Bukan ke semua perempuan suka dilayan macam tu?" Dahi lelaki itu berkerut lagi. Sah, dia telah dimomokkan cerita fairy tale.

"Taklah, siapa cakap?"

"Perempuan sukakan lelaki romantis? It is right?" Dia menyoal lagi dan aku menganguk sekali.

"Memanglah, tapi romantis itu diharapkan dari pasangannya. Dari orang yang disayangi dan dicintai." Gumam ku menjawab pertanyaan Victor dengan sejelas-jelasnya.

"Oh begitu," suara Victor perlahan namun aku lihat dia sembunyi senyum. Tak tahu kenapa dengan reaksi dia tu.

"So, jomlah kita masuk." Pelawanya sambil menghulur tangan.

"Oppps... so sorry Karina. I terlupa lagi," ucapnya bersungguh-sungguh. Aku lihat dia urut dahinya, seolah-olah merasa cukup bersalah terhadap tindakannya.

"It is okay Victor. Small matter," ujar ku mententeramkan dia yang dipagut rasa kesal.

"Thanks Karina. Sorry, I betul-betul terlupa."

"Come," serunya dan aku menurut.

"I harap you boleh makan masakan cina." Victor bersuara sebaik sahaja pesanan dibuat.

"I cuba, Insyallah boleh. Kawan saya kata, masakan cina agak sedap." Ucap ku membuatkan Victor tersenyum panjang.

"Don't worry Karina, semuanya halal!" Victor menyakinkan diriku.

"Eh, I okey. I tak sabar nak makan!" Luah ku memperjelaskan kekeliruan sebentar tadi.

"Really?" Dia teruja.

"Yes, of course!"

"I ingatkan, you takut nak makan! Muka you nampak macam orang takut-takut!" Ada tawa yang mengiringi bicaranya.

"Eh, taklah! First time, mestilah I teruja! Bukan takut!" Nafiku ringkas.

"Good girl! Okay, let's eat!"

"Okey, jom!"

"Tapi sebelum makan, biar I perkenalkan you dengan beberapa menu yang I suka. You pun mesti suka." Menu-menu yang dipesan kami perhatikan bersama-sama.

"This is Baby Kailan Sos Tiram, Black Paper Ginger, Butter Prawn, and Chicken Lemon. You boleh try, I harap you suka." Ujar Victor lagi.

"I tengok pun sudah menyelerakan, kalau rasa mesti tidak mengecewakan. So, jomlah makan! I tak sabar ni, Victor."

Cukup membanggakan!

"Dah banyak cerita tentang I, you pula bagaimana?" Sambil menikmati jus buah, lelaki itu menyoal diri ku pula.

"I?" aku unjuk diri sendiri dan Victor membalas dengan anggukan.

"I anak bongsu dari dua orang adik beradik. I ada abang, yang tumbuk you hari tu. Ingat lagi tak?" soal ku padanya dan Victor terus sahaja ketawa kecil. Mestilah ingat, tak fasal-fasal ditumbuk along. Tragis sungguh!

"Okey teruskan," gumamnya lagi.

Ayah I merupakan askar pencen, dan ibu I pula surirumah sepenuh masa. Mereka tinggal di Ipoh. Sebulan sekali, I akan balik melawat mereka. You nak ikut?" soal ku tiba-tiba.

"Ikut you? Ulangnya semula sambil berfikir-fikir.

"Yes, balik kampung I!" tawarku lagi.

"Boleh juga, tapi you kenalah beritahu pada I awal-awal. Senang nak atur jadual, taklah bertcanggah nanti!" Terangnya lagi.

"Okey, Insyallah nanti I aturkan. Oh ya, siang tadi you kata nak beritahu I sesuatu. Tentang apa ya?" Kerana teringatkan bicara Victor siang tadi, aku segera melepaskan pertanyaan kepadanya.

"Actually, I cuma mahu....

Bripp..

"Okey Yah, nanti Rina balik." Aju ku lemah longlai.

"Okey.. Okey, walaikumusalam." Sahut ku membalas ucapan salam ayah sebelum talian ditamatkan.

"Why? Anything happend?" soalnya serius.

"Ayah I kata, ada orang masuk meminang hujung minggu ni. I kena balik," gumam ku tiba-tiba dipagut rasa sebak. Tak tahu kenapa.

"Baliklah, mana tahu you pun sukakan lelaki tu?"

"I belum bersedia, dan kalau boleh I mahu pilih calon suami sendiri." Tukas ku menerangkan duduk perkara sebenar.

"Tapi, you kena balik. Kalau you tak setuju, just tolak pinangan dia. Kalau seseorang masuk meminang, tak semestinya you harus terima! Pinangan lelaki tu, bukan pinangan mandatori yang you wajib terima. You boleh tolak, atau kalau you suka you boleh terima." Victor memberi pandangan.

"Betul juga kata you tu, tapi kalau I tak ada boyfriend pasti ayah I paksa terima pilihannya."

"You perlukan bantuan?"

"Victor, you boleh tolong I?" soal ku berhati-hati.

"Tolong you?" dia ulang semula dan aku mengangguk laju.

"Tolong apa?"

"Tolong jadi boyfriend I buat sementara waktu."

"Jadi boyfriend you? Berapa lama?"

"Dua hari sepanjang di rumah parents I nanti."

"Quite good! Bila boleh mula?" Laju sahaja Victor bersetuju.

"Hujung minggu ni, tapi you kena ikut I balik ke kampung dan identiti you kena tukar. Boleh tak?" aku menyoal kesudiannya lagi.

"Boleh, apa-apa pun I sanggup demi you!" Ujar dia sudah ketawa mengusik.

"Thanks Victor, susah jumpa lelaki sebaik you. Sudi tolong I dalam apa jua keadaan!"

"Okey, apa nama melayu I sepanjang menjadi kekasih you nanti?"

"Ha, I dah jumpa!" ujar ku dengan hati gembira.

"Hurm?" Victor meminta agar aku meneruskan bicara.

"Hanan!"

"Maksudnya?"

"Wahh.. not bad! So lepas ni, you panggil I Hanan, ya?" Victor kelihatan teruja.

"Kalau boleh, begitulah." Jawab ku bersama senyuman.

"Okey, Rina! Kau keluar dengan siapa?" Syani di atas sofa bertanya sambil anak mata masih tidak lepas memerhatikan kaca tv.

"Dengan kawan aku! Aku pergi dulu tau!"

"Iyalah, jaga diri!" sahutnya ringkas.

"Okey Syani. Insyallah, bye!"

"Bye, Rina!" Lalu daun pintu ku rapatkan semula. Sandal ku sarung dan kaki ku hayun mendekati pintu pagar. Victor sedang bersandar ke keretanya.

"Hai Karina," ucapnya menyambut kedatangan aku.

"Hai Victor," balas ku sambil memandang penampilannya yang agak formal!

"Nak kemana? Ke.. you dari office?" soal ku hairan.

"Err. Ha'a I dari office tadi!" gumamnya kedengaran teragak-agak sahaja nadanya.

"Eh, masuklah!"

"Kedai mamak?"
